There is a real shortage of equipment for 220 Mhz repeaters. Many people have converted high band Motorola Micors to this service quite sucessfully. Here we present one known conversion. There are other sources for conversions out there, some of which we list on our Repeater Page.

We have broken this information down into stages:

• Receiver (Method A)
• Receiver (Method B) is harder to perform but have reliable report from Kevin Custer, W3KKC, that the results are repeatable and tends to yield better sensitivity.
• Exciter
• Exciter Filter (Z501)
• Power Amplifier
• Low Pass Filter
